I revisited a specific memory of myself as a three-year-old holding my father’s thumb. Despite it being just a hold of hands, but it carried so much sentimental value to this day. I developed the series by creating the feelings and the bond I have with my father, how he took care of me, loved me, held me and protected me. I ended the series with a print of me holding and guiding my dad which represents me now and how I grew up to be an independent person and its now my turn to give back all the love he invested in me. I chose the color green because whenever I asked my father about his favorite color, he would reply “Green because it is the color of heaven” and to me he is my heaven.
