This work is a performance body art triptych made with ballet and stretching movements representing the extension of oneself to others. The first piece highlights when a person gives and expects to get back but never gets repaid, the second one is when a person gives with no expectations of getting repaid, and the third one is simply representing a person who is a giver not a taker. Ballet and stretching movements were utilized because I wanted to take the word “Extension” literally and extend myself.
