The Projection, 2018 

Old digitally manipulated photographs and engraving on glass 

(30 x 50 cm /images) and (21 x 30 cm/engraving)

The projection is an installation that exemplifies family. It represents how family members are the reason behind the people we are today. Old photographs of my family members were manipulated digitally then attached to another frame that was engraved with phrases that expresses their importance to me. To wrap up, a reading light was attached as an interactive element where the audience get to experience the large-scale projection on the wall which represents how our loved ones reflect on us.
